- Automatic Mains Failure (AMF) or Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) panels
AMF Panels - Main features
The Automatic Mains Failure ("AMF") panels control the operating parameters of the electric grid and, upon the occurrence of a fault or a power failure, they automatically start the emergency generator by transferring load on the electric power generated by the generator itself, then they restore the normal operating mode once the fault has been removed.

- Available sizes from 25 A to 2500 A (suitable for 15 kVA to 1500 kVA gensets).
ATS Panels - Mains features
The Automatic Transfer Switch ("ATS") panels control the operating parameters of the electric grid and, upon the occurrence of a fault or a power failure, they send the starting command to the emergency generator, after that they transfer load on the electric power generated by the generator itself and restore the normal operating mode once the fault has been removed, by stopping the generator too.
On the contrary of the AMF ones, the ATS panels are not predisposed to manage the genset running operations (apart from start and stop commands), therefore the genset has to be equipped with its own controller.

Automatic Synchronizing panels
The automatic synchronization panels predispose one or more generating sets to operate in parallel among them and / or in parallel with electric grid.
Some common application are the following:
-
Single generator in emergency, temporary parallel with mains.
- Single generator in parallel with mains, with constant power taken from generator.
- Single generator in parallel with mains, load peaks supplied by generator ("peak shaving") , power taken from mains limited to a constant value and genset start/stop depending on load demand.
- Multiple generators running in island mode on power bus.
- Multiple generators in parallel on power bus, in AMF emergency with mains.
